County Precinct 4 Deputy Constable Frank "Scotty" Claborn,
39, was killed early Thursday morning, February 19, 2004 when his
patrol car was hit by a truck reportedly traveling at a high rate
of speed. The fatal accident occurred while the deputy was working
security at a road construction site on Beltway 8 near Interstate
10. Deputy Claborn is survived by his wife, Paula and his ten year
old son, Tanner, who suffers from juvenile diabetes.
