Our mission is to provide immediate financial assistance to the dependent families of peace officers and firefighters who are killed or seriously injured in the line of duty and to provide life-saving equipment to local law enforcement agencies.

Deputy Charles Rivette

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office | Lost in the line of duty February 21, 2024

Deputy Rivette was involved in a vehicle crash while transporting an inmate that killed him and injured another deputy in Centerville, Texas, on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. He had been with the agency for over 18 years. Deputy Rivette is survived by his wife and three children.
